In the cargo port of the American city of Los Angeles, more than 60 containers with goods fell into the water from the merchant ship Mississippi. This was reported on September 9 by the Daily Mail newspaper.

"Footage from the scene shows how containers, like figures from a jenga game, flip over from the Mississippi and fall into the water," the article says.

In total, at least 67 containers fell into the Pacific Ocean. No injuries were reported. All work in the port was temporarily suspended while the ship's crew members tried to pull the containers out of the water.

According to NBC Palm Springs, the cause of the incident was a possible equipment malfunction or miscalculation during unloading.

On June 27, a cargo ship with containers in the Albert Dock caught fire in Hull, Great Britain. It was noted that some roads were closed due to the fire in the area. In addition, then the smoke began to spread through the city center.
