A man was injured as a result of the explosion of a gas cylinder in an apartment building in the capital's Sokolinaya Gora district. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, September 10.

A gas cylinder was used for cooking in a two-room apartment on the fourth floor of a residential building on Fortunatovskaya Street, Regnum news agency reports.

"As a result, a man was injured, he was hospitalized. In addition, there was a violation of the glazing of the balcony," the press service told the Moscow city News agency.
