The list of resources that will be available to users even with the limitations of the mobile Internet will be expanded in several stages. This was announced on September 10 by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

At the first stage, the list already includes, in particular, the websites of the Kremlin (the President of Russia) and the government of the Russian Federation.

"The so-called white list, that is, the list of resources that will be available during periods of limited operation of the mobile Internet due to security threats, will be expanded in several stages," RIA Novosti news agency quotes the text of the message.

In the near future, the websites of the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will also be added to it. By the next stage, the list will include portals of all federal agencies and heads of regions.

On September 5, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported that operators began testing access to popular Internet services during periods of Internet restrictions. The purpose of this measure is to minimize inconveniences for citizens in cases where it is necessary to turn off the mobile Internet to ensure security.

Later, on September 9, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation added that the list of resources available in Russia under the conditions of limited mobile Internet, at the second stage, will include the media, banks, pharmacies. The ministry also clarified that the list of digital platforms will be updated based on the rating of the most popular Internet resources.
