Sobyanin spoke about the work on the reconstruction of Lugansk and Donetsk

In Donetsk and Lugansk, specialists from Moscow are restoring residential buildings, social facilities and engineering networks, sometimes working in dangerous conditions, said the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in the MAX messenger.

On September 1, after renovation, a gymnasium opened in Lugansk. Repairs are underway in one of the schools in Donetsk. Work is also underway in the cities on healthcare facilities.

In addition, the capital's specialists are creating public spaces there, restoring post offices, bridges and overpasses, and preparing cities for the autumn-winter season.

This year, according to Sobyanin, over 100 apartment buildings in Luhansk and 69 in Donetsk will be put in order.

The work will continue next year.

Earlier, Sobyanin noted that Moscow utilities should start heating in more than 2.6 thousand apartment buildings and 450 social facilities in Donetsk. In Luhansk, they are helping to prepare about 2.6 thousand facilities for winter.
