According to the 51-year-old victim, she received a call from a stranger who introduced himself as an employee of the courier service. He stated that the woman allegedly received a package, and in order to receive it, she needed to dictate the code from the SMS message.
Then the Khabarovsk woman received a call from a "bank employee." He convinced the victim that the fraudsters had allegedly issued loans on her behalf. The woman agreed to transfer the savings to a "secure account," writes IA AmurMedia.
