Scientists have registered an unexplained magnetic storm on Earth that occurred on the night of Wednesday, September 10. This is stated on the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

"A completely incomprehensible and difficult to explain magnetic storm was unexpectedly registered on Earth on Wednesday night. The event was absent from the forecasts, which were completely colored green the day before," the message says.
