Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were lifted at Sochi airport. This was announced on September 10 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Sochi Airport. Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

He added that these measures were taken to ensure flight safety. In addition, Korenyako stated that four aircraft had been sent to alternate airfields during the period of restrictions.

The representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency also noted that the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services had taken the necessary measures to ensure the safety of flights.
