The Russian Armed Forces eliminated an artillery piece of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territory of the Kherson region

Gunners of the 49th Combined Arms Army destroyed an artillery piece of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced on September 10 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that the weapon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered in a forest belt during reconnaissance carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The received data was immediately transmitted to the artillery control center. After that, the gunners, having previously prepared the 152-mm Hyacinth-B howitzer for use, destroyed the identified target.

"Three shells were fired on command, and the gun was destroyed," said the commander of the gun with the call sign Adamiy.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced a day earlier that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had eliminated manpower and equipment in the Red Army area in the area of a special military operation using a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) Tornado-G of the Center group of forces. The ministry added that this operation made it possible to create favorable conditions for the offensive of the assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces in this direction.
