The main vessel of the Freedom Flotilla led by Thunberg was attacked by UAVs
The main ship of the Global Sumuda Flotilla (GSF), led by Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, sailing to the shores of the Gaza Strip, was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on September 10 by Al Mayadeen TV channel in its Telegram channel with reference to the organization's statement.
It is specified that this attack, which became the second in a few days, was recorded off the coast of the city of Sidi Bou Said in Tunisia.
According to the TV channel, a fire started on board the ship as a result of the incident, which was eliminated by the crew members.
On August 10, Thunberg announced that she intends to visit Gaza again to conduct a humanitarian mission. The first attack on one of the GSF ships, which used drones, occurred on September 8. The attacked ship was flying the Portuguese flag. The organizers stressed that passengers and crew members were not injured as a result of the incident.
