The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired Storm Shadow missiles at Donetsk

Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to launch attacks on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) with Storm Shadow cruise missiles. This was reported on September 9 in the Russian operational services.

"Storm Shadow missiles are flying through Donetsk in advance, and air defense is working," TASS quoted the operational services as saying.

According to preliminary information, civilians were injured in the Budyonnovsky district of Donetsk as a result of a hit on an apartment building.

Earlier that day, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the facts of attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on settlements in the DPR. The official representative of the department, Svetlana Petrenko, noted that the investigation is establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The Investigative Committee is also trying to identify the Ukrainian militants who gave and executed the orders for their subsequent criminal prosecution. Later, Izvestia published footage of a combined attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Donetsk.
