The document was signed by 86 "leftist" deputies, mostly from the Unconquered France party, but not only. <...> The signatories accuse Emmanuel Macron, among other things, of "violating the Constitution in several ways," of "acting as an autocrat," or of "threatening the Republic," the publication says.

On September 8, French MPs voted against a vote of confidence in the government of Prime Minister Francois Bayrou. Subsequently, Bayrou must submit to Macron a letter of resignation from the government.
