Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, the countries of the European Union (EU) have provided financial support to Kiev in the amount of almost €169 billion. This was announced on August 9 by the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, during a speech at the European Parliament.

"This year alone, EU countries will allocate more than ever before: €25 billion," RT quoted her as saying.
