Roman Alyokhin, a military blogger and ex-adviser to the governor of the Kursk region, planned to purchase real estate in Kursk at an undervalued price. He told about it on September 9 in an interview with Izvestia.

"There are almost 400 square meters in total. m of these warehouses, and there are 800. 1.2 thousand "squares". For 15 million plus VAT, well, that's ridiculous," he said.

The military blogger added that he has been renting warehouses since 2002 and is now using them for "volunteer activities."

"All this time, I've been paying for these warehouses out of my own money, not from fees, not from fees at all. And this is my personal money, plus there are storekeepers, plus accountants, and so on. I paid for all this with my own money. When they offered, that is, I say, then I can no longer pay for it myself, but with your money. I can spend it, for example, and already do it separately. I have a legal entity, a charitable foundation and a volunteer organization," Alyokhin explained.

Alekhine is suspected of money laundering and tax evasion under the guise of helping participants in a special military operation. On September 9, Izvestia obtained footage of him talking about a way to launder millions of rubles through his charitable foundation. As part of the criminal scheme, the company transfers 200 million to the Alekhine Foundation in order to allegedly help the front. After that, the blogger purchases medicines worth 150 million rubles from a company affiliated with the company for its participants.
