"According to the Tourism Board and local airlines, all airports in Nepal will be closed at least until 00:00 hours on September 11," the publication says.

It is noted that a further extension of flight restrictions is possible.

Mass protests in Nepal began on September 8 after the authorities banned the activities of major social networks that did not register with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on time.
