Multifunctional visitor center to be created on Nikolaevskaya Sopka in Krasnoyarsk

The Commission for Architectural and Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture of Krasnoyarsk has agreed on the appearance of the new visitor center. This is reported by the city administration.

A new multifunctional visitor center is planned to be built on Nikolaevskaya Sopka. The building will have two floors, with an observation deck on the roof.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the architects tried to fit the visitor center into the natural landscape as much as possible. Due to the hinged facades and stained glass windows, the building will seem to hover above the surrounding space, resembling a spaceship.

The customer is KGKU "Tourist Information Center of the Krasnoyarsk Territory". The construction dates, as well as the cost, are not mentioned.
