The Belarusian car brand Belgee has announced a new hybrid crossover
Sales of the new Belgee X80 hybrid crossover will begin in Belarus at the end of September. This was announced by the brand's press service on September 9.
It is stated that this is the first series-parallel hybrid in the range of the Belgee plant. At the same time, most of the benzoelectric models on the Belarusian market are built on the principle of sequential hybrids, the company noted. The Belgee X80 will be presented in one configuration and will take the position of the brand's flagship.
The Belgee X80 will be the fourth model in the brand's lineup, which is based on Chinese Geely. It now includes the X50 (formerly Coolray) and X70 (formerly Atlas Pro) crossovers, which are also sold in Russia, as well as the Belgee S50, which is known in Russia as the Geely Emgrand.
According to <url> Magazine, the Chinese Geely Galaxy Starship 7 was used as the basis for the Belgee X80.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Belarusian—made Belgee X50 crossover became the best-selling new car in Moscow in August, pushing the former capital's leader, Geely Monjaro, into second place. Yesterday it became known that for the first time in history, the X50 topped the sales rating in the segment of foreign cars on the Russian car market.
