In Sevastopol, the landscaping of the pedestrian zone on the street of Military Builders of the Cossack Bay is nearing completion. This was stated by the acting deputy governor of the region Pavel Jeno in his social networks on Tuesday, September 9.
Large-scale work on the construction of the pedestrian network began in the fall of 2024. The construction is scheduled to be completed in November.
"The Kazachaya Bay microdistrict is densely populated. Our main task is to make the road infrastructure modern, comfortable, high—quality and safe," the official said.
The road workers plan to equip sidewalks up to two meters wide, to green the territory and replace the old stops with new ones. In total, 10 pavilions will be installed over 2.5 km, writes IA SevastopolMedia.
Earlier it was reported that new bus services were launched in the Simferopol region at the end of August. They connect the capital of Crimea and two villages.
