Fog with a visibility of 200-700 m is expected in the Moscow region from Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region on September 9.
"In the period from 23:00 on September 9, fog with a visibility of 200-700 m is expected in places in the Moscow region," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.
The agency recommended that drivers turn on their fog lights, keep an increased distance, and avoid sudden maneuvers, RIAMO writes. Pedestrians were advised to be careful when crossing the road, and if possible, use reflective elements on their clothes.
The day before, a "yellow" weather hazard level was declared in the Moscow region due to fog on the night of Tuesday, September 9. It was reported that fog with a visibility of 200-500 m will remain in the region until 09:00, writes "Moscow 24".
