158 raids have been carried out in Stavropol against street bazaars since the beginning of the current 2025. As a result of inspections against illegal traders, 485 administrative protocols were drawn up, the press service of the Mayor's office reported on Tuesday, September 9.

"And yet, despite all efforts, the problem will not be solved as long as people buy questionable products, risking their lives and health," said Ivan Ulyanchenko, the head of the regional capital.

The administration added that the lack of documents confirming the quality and safety of products is of particular concern.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, there is always garbage in places of spontaneous trade that requires cleaning costs.

Earlier, Roskachestvo warned about the danger of buying "homemade wines" by hand. Such trade is becoming less common now, but eggplant wine is still common in the southern regions of Russia.
