The Cultural City festival is coming to an end in Zaryadye.

Stars of Russian jazz, symphonic music, cinema and theater will take to the main stage of the Cultural City festival, organized by the Moscow Department of Culture. The program of the final week of the forum "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" at Zaryadye — the best collectives of the country, chamber premieres, theatrical experiments and musical shows.

September 9th

The concert program "Dance Kaleidoscope" of the Gzhel Dance Theater starts at 12:00. The team, known for its modern choreographic productions and unique costumes, will present an artistic variety of dances from different nations.

At 20:00, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra will give a concert conducted by Mikhail Astafiev, with Ivan Rudin as artistic director. The band will perform masterpieces of Russian symphonic music.

At 14:00, the Moscow Drama Theater "Man" will present the play "Love".

At 20:00, the legendary Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, created by Vladimir Spivakov in 1979 and known for its outstanding performing skills, will give a Deja Vu symphony concert.

At 12:00 p.m., the Large Combined Choir of the Moscow Mayor's project "Moscow Longevity" will congratulate the capital on its birthday with a concert "Dedication to a beloved city."

At 14:00, the Vadim Sudakov Moscow State Chapel, founded in 1992, will present a concert and theatrical program "The song helps us build and live." The band revives the meaning of the concept of a capella as an ensemble uniting singers and instrumentalists. The audience will see the history of the country captured in the songs of Russian composers and songwriters - a vivid stage embodiment of familiar plots, theatrical scenes that complement the content of the works, original arrangements for vocal ensembles, choir and soloists accompanied by an instrumental ensemble.

A tribute concert to Leonid Utesov "Thank you, my heart, that you can love so much!" dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the artist's birth will begin at 20:00. The program will feature Soviet-era cult hits about life, love and friendship in modern arrangements. The accompaniment will be provided by the Moscow big band Bridge, which has been performing since 2018 and collaborating with well-known Russian and foreign musicians, and the QuintElle instrumental group. The artists will prepare an original version of Utesov's compositions in their own unique style.

September 13, City Day

The festival will celebrate Moscow City Day with a unique musical show "Dedication to Moscow". At 19:00, world—famous Russian musicians, winners of the first prizes of the Tchaikovsky Competition singer Albina Shagimuratova, pianist Boris Berezovsky, violinist Nikolai Sachenko and cellist Alexander Ramm - will take to the main stage of the Bolshoi Amphitheater together with the State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia" under the leadership of the People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation and Artistic Director The head of the concert is Maestro Yuri Bashmet. The program of the evening will feature music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The concert audience will also meet with their favorite artists — Konstantin Khabensky, Sergey Garmash, Polina Agureeva, Vasily Bochkarev and Andrey Merzlikin. They will read poems and prose excerpts dedicated to Moscow. Admission to the concert is free upon registration.

September 14, City Day

The Children's Movement Festival will bring together young talents from all over Russia who will present their achievements in music, dance and sports. The festival will open at 13:00 with a sports program featuring famous athletes who will conduct master classes. At 14:30, young performers will present a special project "Children about Moscow. From the past to the future" — songs based on the poems of classics of Russian literature in a modern arrangement, and at 16:00 the dance marathon will begin. Admission to these events is free.

And the day will end at 18:00 with a big gala show "Children's Movement" with the participation of popular young artists - Viki Show, Mariana Lokel, Adrenalinhouse, Milana Filimonova, Nastya Kosh, Vova Levchenko and others. Admission to the gala show is free upon registration.
