Vandals fried fried eggs on an eternal flame in a village in the Chelyabinsk region

Unknown people fried fried eggs on an Eternal flame located on the territory of the memorial complex "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the village of Dolgoderevenskoye, Sosnovsky district, Chelyabinsk region. This was reported on September 9 in the press service of the regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"Unidentified persons <...> publicly committed acts that desecrate the symbol of military glory, the Eternal Flame, by scattering food and other items on it," the Telegram channel says.

This incident became known during the monitoring of the media and social networks. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 3 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Desecration of symbols of military glory of Russia committed in public"). The circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier, on August 4, it was reported that in July, two men used the Eternal Flame on the Champ de Mars in St. Petersburg to make bread. After the act of vandalism, they fled on electric scooters.
