A fire at a crocodile farm in Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory, has been eliminated

The fire recorded on the territory of the Crocodile Canyon Zoo in Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory, has been eliminated. This was reported on August 9 in the press service of the regional Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

"A fire was reported at the address: Yeysk, Schmidt Street, Crocodile Canyon Zoo. <...> Upon arrival at the site of the first units, it was established that a one—story building on an area of 150 square meters caught fire. <...> At 01:49 Moscow time, the elimination of open gorenje. <...> At 03:10 Moscow time, elimination of the consequences of the fire," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that 18 people from the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and nine people from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, as well as a total of eight pieces of equipment from two structures, five and three from each side, respectively, were involved in the liquidation.

On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported a fire on the territory of a dolphinarium and a crocodile farm. According to him, neither people nor animals were injured as a result of the fire.
