Calculations of D-20 howitzers destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Chasova Yar

Crews of 152-millimeter D-20 howitzers from the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit from the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) west of Chasova Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on September 9 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

An accumulation of enemy manpower was detected by scouts using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in an equipped dilapidated building of the stronghold.

After that, the D-20 howitzer crew received the task of destroying the target. The gun crews fired accurate sniper shots at the target after adjusting the impact, carried out with the help of reconnaissance UAVs.

"The dugouts hit the equipment, they also worked on the infantry. They give us a goal, we've worked it out, and that's it," said the military man with the call sign Creator.

The ministry noted that high-explosive fragmentation ammunition is used by howitzer crews during combat missions, which makes it possible to inflict maximum fire damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to the coordinated calculations, courage and heroism of the paratrooper gunners, the task was completed, the enemy personnel in the stronghold, as well as the camouflaged ammunition depot, were destroyed.

On September 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the Mi-28NM helicopter crew performing a combat mission during a special military operation. During the mission, the helicopter crew launched a light multi-purpose guided missile (LMUR) and aircraft missiles at the specified targets. According to intelligence data, the location of the Ukrainian militants was successfully hit.
