UAV operators destroyed an APU tank in the Zaporizhia region
The operators of FPV drones of the Guards 58th Combined arms Army of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhiv direction in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on September 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"It was really difficult to destroy it, because they tried to somehow defend it, protect it, hide it somehow, but the APU could not cope, in fact, we destroyed the tank," said the operator of the FPV drone with the call sign Aks.
A key factor in the high efficiency of FPV drones is the ability to hit targets at long range. The intelligence system promptly identifies enemy targets and transmits their exact coordinates to the UAV command posts. This ensures a quick and accurate fire impact, which, in turn, undermines the enemy's combat capability and contributes to the successful offensive of the Russian assault groups.
On August 7, the Russian Defense Ministry said that military personnel of the Vostok group of forces had attacked communications facilities and unmanned vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was clarified that the UAV operators had identified the antennas of the Starlink satellite station deployed by the AFU units and had disabled them with precise blows from FPV drones.
