Torpedo beat SKA in the KHL regular season match
Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod defeated SKA St. Petersburg in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match. The match took place on September 8 and ended with a score of 3:2.
Forwards Egor Sokolov (7th minute), Vladislav Firstov (31st minute) and Egor Vinogradov (65th minute) scored for the Nizhny Novgorod team. Strikers Nikolai Goldobin (22nd) and Sergey Plotnikov (51st) scored for SKA.
In addition, Canadian SKA striker Joseph Blandisi was disciplined for unsportsmanlike conduct in the 18th minute for the rest of the game.
