The school building was damaged as a result of a missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on September 8.

On the same day, it became known that a civilian was killed as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using unmanned aerial vehicles in a nine-story residential building in Makeyevka, located in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). In addition, as a result of the incident, at least eight apartments burned out in this housing development.
