De Gaulle's grandson expressed a desire to move to Russia with his wife.

Pierre de Gaulle, President of the de Gaulle Foundation and grandson of the first president of France, Charles de Gaulle, wants to move to Russia with his wife, Najeta Bensuiki. He announced this on September 8 during a speech to students and faculty of the Russian State Social University (RGSU).

"My wife and I want to settle in Russia, and I believe that this will be a vivid symbol of Franco-Russian friendship," TASS quoted him as saying.

De Gaulle also shared that in the future his son will study at the RSSU.
