The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into a fire in an apartment building in Angarsk.

In Angarsk (Irkutsk region), a check has been organized on the fact of a fire in an apartment building. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The fire occurred on Monday afternoon, September 8, in the 85th block. The apartment on the ground floor caught fire.

As a result, two people were injured. According to preliminary data, the fire started due to a malfunction of the gas equipment, writes IA IrkutskMedia.

Upon the incident, the Investigative Committee began checking for signs of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Provision of services that do not meet security requirements." Based on the results of the inspection, a decision will be made to institute a criminal case.
