Concerts, performances and excursions will be held in Moscow for the City Day.
Excursions, film screenings, lectures, and master classes will be held in different districts of Moscow on City Day, which is celebrated on September 13 and 14. This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The events dedicated to the City Day will unite pedestrian spaces, Moscow 2030 forum sites, parks, museums, cultural centers and VDNH. Muscovites and tourists can expect exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances and much more dedicated to the capital," Sergunina emphasized.
For example, those who wish are invited to visit the special project of the Teatralny Boulevard festival, watch the Rings of Moscow 3D show at VDNH, and participate in a programming competition.
Musical and poetic performances will be held at the Druzhba Narodov fountain at VDNH. The museum of Slavic Writing "Slovo" will host guided tours "Moscow — Holy Russia, both the heart and the head!", where they will present little-known historical facts about the city. Russian Russian Museum Pavilion No. 1 offers a visit to the exhibition "The Image of Moscow in Russian Art from the collection of the State Russian Museum." The exhibition includes works by Andrei Rublev, Apollinarius Vasnetsov, Vasily Surikov and Vasily Vereshchagin.
A concert "Happy Birthday, Moscow!" will be held on Poklonnaya Gora on September 13, and a festival with popular artists will be held on September 14.
A screening of the film "I Walk through Moscow" is scheduled for Saturday in the Bauman Garden. The next day, visitors will be offered to make a graphic collage depicting the capital and watch the Soviet film "Girl without an Address."
