Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region this week.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, September 8, the expert noted that anticyclones form the weather in almost the entire European territory of the country with minor differences. According to him, the weather in Moscow and the Moscow region will remain calm and comfortable throughout the week with temperatures ranging from +22 to +24 degrees, and from the middle of the week it may drop to +20.
He added that precipitation is not expected during this period, atmospheric pressure will remain high, and the wind will be weak.
Shuvalov also warned that it will be cool in the morning, so you should dress warmer. Against the background of good weather in the capital region, a less favorable situation is observed in Sochi, where rains and thunderstorms are expected by the end of the week. He clarified that the velvet season on the coast was temporarily interrupted, but after September 10, good weather will be established there again.
