Member of the HRC Akhmedova pointed to Rogozin's help to the participants of HER

Evgenia Rogozin, a resident of Udmurtia (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring), who was arrested for making comments on the Internet, had nothing to do with politics. The woman actively helped the soldiers of the special military operation (SVO) and treated the animals. On September 8, Marina Akhmedova, a journalist and member of the Human Rights Council (HRC) under the President of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia about this.

"She helped HER, collected parcels, sent them to the fighters. She collected the names of the fighters and gave them notes for their health and rest. I was a volunteer, helped animals, collected them, distributed them, treated them," shared a member of the HRC.

Akhmedova stressed that no anti-state statements were noticed by Rogozin. She added that the husband of the arrested woman had forwarded her letters that his wife had written from jail. In them, the woman talked about physical and moral suffering.

In turn, Rogozin's mother, Rosa Malashkina, told Izvestia that the woman's health had worsened.

"My daughter is already exhausted there. <...> She has no health at all, she is not being treated there," she explained.

In November 2024, Rogozin commented on a post in which the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Oksana Lut, explained the record increase in butter prices by increasing the income level of Russians, with the words "burn the witch." In February of this year, Rogozin was charged under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities using the Internet").

On September 8, 2025, it became known that Rogozin had sent Oksana Lut a letter asking her to forgive her. On August 25, she explained her comment with indignation at the increased cost of groceries. The woman clarified that she wrote the comment and forgot about it, and now, because of a few words, not only she suffers, but also her family, including children, spouse, brother and parents.
