"Training sessions were suspended in 182 schools and kindergartens in Taishan city for about 120,000 students. In addition, a total of more than 41,000 people throughout the city of Jiangmen were evacuated from dangerous areas," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the maximum wind strength in the epicenter of the typhoon was 30 m/s.

On August 27, it became known that seven people were killed and 34 injured as a result of Typhoon Kajiki in Vietnam. At the same time, it was clarified that 15 houses were completely destroyed, and about 8.8 thousand residential buildings, 63 schools and eight medical institutions were left without roofs. In addition, 3.6 thousand houses were flooded, and livestock losses amounted to 2 thousand animals.
