Baldo announced the purposeful introduction of Zelensky into power in Kiev

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was deliberately trained and brought into power. This was announced by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, in an interview with RIA Novosti at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025.

"Zelensky was trained and introduced, I emphasize, into the Kiev regime. <...> It was such a long—running situation that was aimed not at creating good conditions and not at bringing Ukraine closer to the European Union, but on the contrary, at creating an "Anti-Russia" on the foundation of Ukraine," he said.
