The all-wheel drive seven-seat crossover Tenet T8 began to arrive to Russian dealers, according to the analytical agency "Autostat" on September 8.

The greatest demand is expected for the Tenet T8 in the maximum configuration, given the difference between the two versions of 250 thousand rubles, said Olga Antyushina, director of the Khimki Motor Center division. Among the three models of the brand, the new crossover will be the most unpopular due to the price and size of the body, she said. The main competitors of the T8 in the market will be Geely Atlas, Haval F7/F7x and Changan CS75.

The start of accepting orders for the Tenet T8 was announced on September 2. The crossover is offered in two trim levels priced from 3.54 million and 3.79 million rubles. The model is equipped with an alternative two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 hp (375 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. The length of the car is 4725 mm with a wheelbase of 2710 mm.

The Tenet T8 entered the assembly line at the AGR Holding plant (formerly Volkswagen) in the Kaluga Region, along with the more compact T4 and T7 crossovers. Tenet cars are based on Chery models. The Tenet brand was created specifically for the Russian market.

Earlier, on September 5, BMW unveiled the new iX3 crossover, which will go on sale in spring 2026. This is the brand's first model built on the Neue Klasse ("new class") platform. It is equipped with advanced autonomous driving features and has four high-performance computers, which BMW calls "super brains."
