The third stage of the prestigious international sailing competition Tenzor Elite Cup 2025, which brought together more than 70 yachtsmen from Russia and Belarus, has ended in the Moscow region. At the Pestovsky reservoir at the Tenzor Sailing Club yacht club, athletes competed for the title of the strongest, and three racing days turned into an exciting battle of tactics, where the victory was won not by the fastest, but by the most cold-blooded and prudent.

The tournament was held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sports, ministries and departments of the Moscow Region, and the Administration of the Mytishchi City District.

The start of the weekend was given on Friday, September 5th. After the opening ceremony dedicated to the memory of the outstanding yachtsman Andrei Balashov, and welcoming words from the distinguished guests, including representatives of the State Duma and the Russian Federation Council, the crews took to the water. The first day of the race set a tense tone for the entire stage: the capricious wind forced the yachtsmen to show all their patience and tactical skills. It was relatively inflated only in the afternoon, and the judges were able to hold a single race.

The weak and changeable wind of the second and third days of competition only added fuel to the fire: the teams changed positions and the gaps in the leading group were minimal. In total, the judges managed to hold nine races.

The Pirogovo Yacht Club team (Alexander Bozhko, Alexey Frolov, Nikita Plaksin, Ekaterina Krasnova) became the winner and gold medal winner. The crew took the lead from the first race and showed consistently high results throughout the regatta. Silver was won by the strong and persistent Aladdin team (Georgy Sokolovsky, Ilya Polishchuk, Daniil Maistrovsky, Mikhail Yatsun). And the BABY's ON FIRE team (Alina Zheleznova, Artyom Zheleznov, Igor Lisovenko, Pavel Sysoev, Alexander Kharlamov) became the bronze medalist of the stage with an impressive breakthrough at the end of the final races. One step away from the podium, the regatta was completed by the winners of the previous stage, the PTICHKI Sailing Team of Elvira Pinchuk. The Sailing school “Moresolka” team, which included 14-15-year-old yachtsmen under the guidance of the experienced Ivan Volchkov, made a bright debut. The boys competed on a par with the adults and were able to take fifth place.

The Tenzor Cup Junior children's competition, which took place on Saturday, September 6, has traditionally become an integral part of the regatta's large sports program. For the third time this season, a meeting with award-winning athletes was organized for young yachtsmen. This time, the speakers were world champion Konstantin Besputin, European champion Eduard Skornyakov, member of the Russian national team Alina Zheleznova and a special guest, cosmonaut, Hero of Russia, captain of the Roscosmos sailing team Sergey Korsakov, who answered the tricky questions of young sailing enthusiasts in a very interesting way. After an autograph session, a performance and a briefing, the children went to the water, where four races and the traditional captains' race were held in wind conditions from 1 to 4 m/s. The Optimists team won the competition, the Victoria team from the Tenzor Junior team took the second place, and the Optariki team took the third place. A special feature of the stage was the active participation of newcomers who set sail for the first time.

The 2025 Tenzor Elite Cup completes the Moscow region stages and prepares for the decisive grand final, which will be held in Sochi from November 6-9, 2025 and will finally determine the winners.
