On August 8, the first branch of the National Center "Russia" was opened in Vladivostok. Large-scale flash mobs were staged in the capital of Primorye, a round dance was held and patriotic songs were sung. The center, opened on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has hosted several dozen thematic locations dedicated to the achievements of the Russian Federation.

The first visitor to the center was the Russian leader during a working visit to the region. Now guests go on excursions from all over Primorsky Krai.

"Just like the Rossiya National Center in Moscow, there will be a cultural, educational and business program. Judging by how they opened, and they opened brilliantly, beautifully, comfortably, such an honor — the president opened, there is already such a whole space here, the space of something new," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Center for Russia.

It is noted that about 3 thousand guests arrived at the branch on the first day of operation alone. One of the most popular is the interactive zone where you need to translate expressions from youth slang into literary Russian. Now every guest of the center can try himself as an interpreter.

Putin visited the branch of the National Center "Russia" on September 4. The President was shown how youth slang is currently used in everyday life. So, the Russian leader was told about new slang expressions, including "kringe", "gaise", "troubles" and "chill rink".
