Unique souvenirs and delicacies await the guests of the Moscow Seasons on City Day

On City Day, guests of the Moscow Seasons festival venues will be able to purchase unique souvenirs and festive treats. Handmade products, books, art objects and gastronomic gifts will be presented in the shopping chalets, according to the website of the Moscow City Hall.

Special attention will be paid to gastronomy: Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to taste gingerbread cookies with images of the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Bolshoi Theater. There will also be collections of prints, paintings by artists, vinyl records and florariums.

Earlier, on September 3, it was reported that by the City Day, the capital will be decorated with more than 3.2 thousand flags, posters and decorative structures. According to Pyotr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, the decoration will appear on bridges, highways, squares near train stations, entrances to the city and in public spaces.

Moscow will celebrate its 878th birthday on September 13 and 14.
