A sick leave open at the main place of work will not be paid if the person continues to work part-time in another place and receives income for it. This became known on August 8 from the documents of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

"When the insured person does not work during the period of temporary disability <...> for his main job, while continuing to work on an internal part—time basis (including remotely), there are no grounds for assigning and paying benefits for the duration of employment during the period of temporary disability determined by the doctor," the fragment says. the RIA Novosti document.

Thus, the doctor's prescribed exemption from work applies to all jobs where the patient is employed. As explained in the department, otherwise the employee will receive an additional financial incentive to abuse the right to take sick leave.

"At the same time, non—compliance with the treatment regimen determined by the doctor can negatively affect the recovery process, and going to work without discharge is one of the violations of the conditions of medical care," the Social Fund added.

On July 24, it was reported that the Ministry of Health had developed new rules for issuing sick leave. So, if a person has taken sick leave four times in six months, the attending physician will be required to contact the medical board. This does not take into account cases of caring for a sick child and family members, rehabilitation, as well as receiving help for socially significant diseases.
