Some categories of citizens will receive a pension increase starting from October 1. This was announced on September 8 by Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that this will affect pensioners who celebrated their 80th birthday in September 2025.
"Starting from October 1, they will start receiving payments increased by 10,221.70 rubles. This amount consists of a fixed payment to an insurance pension in the amount of 8,907.70 rubles and a nursing allowance of 1,314 rubles," the Prime agency quoted the expert as saying.
