- Dmitriev noted the Russian Federation's desire to develop new partnerships for resource extraction
Russia is a world leader in natural resource reserves and intends to cooperate with other countries in the field of their extraction. This was announced on September 7 by Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), on the social network X.
"Russia ranks first in the world in terms of natural resource reserves, estimated at $75 trillion. That is why it is constantly under attack from globalists and the "deep state," he said.
Dmitriev noted that the Russian Federation will jointly develop resources together with leading states. For this purpose, the country has already established relevant contacts and plans to develop them.
A day earlier, retired US Lieutenant Colonel Earl Rasmussen, a political scientist, said in an interview with Izvestia that many American companies would like to cooperate with Russia and have a negative attitude towards the demands to terminate their projects in the Russian Federation. According to the expert, joint work could be carried out in the economy, as well as in the field of science and research in regions such as the Arctic and Alaska. According to him, such cooperation opens up many opportunities.
On September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to approve a program for the development of the rare earth metals industry at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).
