The Yemeni Houthis from the Ansar Allah rebel movement announced a large-scale drone attack against targets in Israel. This was announced on September 7 by Yahya Saria, a representative of the armed forces formed by the Houthis, on the air of the Al Masirah TV channel.

According to Yahya Saria, a representative of the Houthi armed forces, attacks were carried out on Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Eilat, as well as on targets in the Negev Desert.

"The Yemeni armed forces conducted a large-scale military operation using multiple drones. The operation successfully achieved its objectives, as Israeli and American air defense systems were unable to detect and intercept several drones," Saria said.

According to him, the strikes also hit Ben Gurion Airport, critical facilities in Ashkelon and Ashdod, as well as Ramon Airport near Eilat.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli military reported that a drone launched from Yemen crashed near Ramon Airport. As a result, one person was slightly injured, and several others sought medical help in a state of shock.
