The airspace over Ramon Airport is closed after a Houthi drone strike. This was reported on September 7 by the Times of Israel newspaper with reference to the Israel Airports Authority.

"Israel has closed the airspace over Ramon Airport in the south of the country," the publication said.

It is noted that the statement was made after an unmanned aerial vehicle launched by the Yemeni Houthis crashed at the airport, injuring two people.

Earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the interception of three drones launched from Yemen. According to the army press service, an air alert was issued in a number of areas in southern Israel due to the threat of an invasion by UAVs.
