The strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Russian infrastructure did not affect the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline. This was announced on September 7 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.

"The night attack on Russia's energy infrastructure has no effect on the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline or on oil supplies to Hungary," he wrote on Facebook (part of a Meta—organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

Szijjarto reported on August 22 that the Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia, was again attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the incident, oil supplies to Hungary were suspended. On August 28, oil supply through the Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia resumed.
