Zakharova pointed to Sweden's loss of security control after joining NATO
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting to Izvestia on another attack on the Russian embassy in Sweden using a drone with paint, said that after the country joined NATO, it lost control over internal and external security.
"We have repeatedly raised the issue of security with Stockholm. We received assurances that the Swedish authorities would do everything possible. After all, such provocations pose a threat not only to the diplomatic mission, but also to the citizens. But despite the promises of the Swedish authorities, the incidents continue. Apparently, after Sweden joined NATO, it lost control over internal and external security," Zakharova said.
