Russians are confident that in 5 years, technical specialists whose skills are related to artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, as well as cybersecurity and robotics will be in maximum demand in the labor market. This conclusion follows from a study conducted by a recruitment company on September 7. hh.ru and the International Symposium "Creating the Future".

According to a study reviewed by RIA Novosti, 68% of respondents believe that artificial intelligence and machine learning specialists will be in maximum demand in the labor market in 5 years. It is specified that residents of the Rostov Region (80%), the Voronezh Region (78%) and the Perm Region (75%) are most confident in this.

Other professions were included in this list, including a cybersecurity developer (65%) and a robotics and automation engineer (54%). The ranking also includes data analysts (31%) and digital transformation managers (22%).

The respondents expressed the hope that other fields will become in demand, in particular, 44% of the study participants consider the professions of physicists, chemists, geneticists, epidemiologists, biotechnologists and other scientific specialists to be in demand.

In addition, 32% of respondents believe that the demand for specialists in agriculture and organic production will increase. They also noted the growing role of psychologists (21%), environmentalists (18%) and alternative energy specialists (17%).

According to the Director of Research hh.ru According to Maria Ignatova, neural networks and digitalization of processes significantly affect the labor market and change the professional landscape.

"Today we can confidently talk about the digital evolution of skills, which will affect not only technical specialists, but also other fields of knowledge, including creative ones," she concluded.

On the same day, Andrey Kladov, a recruitment expert and director of the Migrant Service platform, told Gazeta.Ru", that a number of working professions will remain relevant, despite the transformation of the market by artificial intelligence. According to him, today only about 3% of jobs in the United States fall under the full replacement of AI, and in the long term — up to 27%. The expert added that there are professions in which the role of a person remains indisputable — builders, roofers, plumbers, electricians, firefighters and drivers in difficult conditions (truckers working on roads with poor pavement or limited visibility).
