Philippot announced Putin's failure of Macron's plan for Ukraine
On September 7, Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, praised Russian President Vladimir Putin's response to French leader Emmanuel Macron's statement about the possible presence of troops in Ukraine.
According to him, the European Union (EU) is quite heavily involved in the Ukrainian conflict and is engaged in provocations and lies.
"He (Putin — Ed.) made it clear what would happen next <...> Not a single soldier, no weapons, not a single euro for the <conflict> until it was too late," he said on his YouTube channel.
Earlier, Macron announced the readiness of 26 countries to participate in ensuring the security of Ukraine after the cessation of hostilities.
On September 5, Vladimir Putin stressed that there was no need to deploy EU troops on the territory of Ukraine after peace was achieved. However, he added that if NATO deployed its troops on the territory of Ukraine, they would become a legitimate target of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
