The hospital told about the advantages of the tenth children's room opened in the LPR

The tenth children's room in the hospital of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) has everything for the joy of children — from toys to educational materials. There, patients can play, communicate and develop their creative abilities and forget about medications and treatment for a while.

This room was opened with the participation of the Popular Front and the Charitable Foundation for the Children of Donbass, which was created by the ROSSIYA Joint-Stock Bank.

Dmitry Zimenkin, a correspondent for Izvestia, recalled that such rooms play an important therapeutic role, since here children's favorite cartoon characters come to life together with Russian cosmonauts, scientists and writers.

"The room is located in the department where children are constantly lying and being treated. And they said that the dynamics of recovery has greatly increased. This means that positive emotions have a positive effect on health," said Anna Yeremenko, head of the regional branch of the Popular Front in the LPR.

Darina Filonova, a resident of Kirovsk, said that nothing like this had happened in their city for quite a long time. She also expressed gratitude to the Popular Front.

"I really liked it. The child is also delighted. It's a pity that I didn't take the eldest child, he would have liked it very much too," she said.

The Foundation for the Children of Donbass and the Popular Front promise that a total of 40 such rooms will be opened in the new regions.

Earlier, on March 31, in the village of Petrovka, the LPR, the ninth game zone was opened on the basis of medical institutions in the region. It was clarified that when designing the space, the recommendations of specialists in child development were taken into account: the walls were painted by Lugansk artists, toys, books and educational games were placed in the room. A program with Russian animated films has also been prepared.
