Alikhanov noted the development of the perfume industry in the Russian Federation

Currently, the perfumery and cosmetics industry is rapidly developing in Russia. This was announced on September 7 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.

"We have the necessary domestic components and now the industry is developing rapidly. Fragrance manufacturers are already operating on the territory of the Russian Federation," he said in an interview with TASS at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF-2025).

The Minister also stressed that one of the tasks of the ministry remains to create its own raw material base and increase the level of localization of production in the perfume industry.

On March 30, Golden Apple analysts conducted a study and found out that citrus, floral, woody, fruity and spicy notes were among the top 5 most popular flavors among Russians. At the same time, the most popular perfume product turned out to be eau de parfum — on average, 60% of people prefer it.
