The settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is close thanks to negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This was announced on September 7 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

Dmitriev noted that, despite pressure from the West, only dialogue, respect and understanding of each other can resolve the conflict.
