In the USA, a Robinson R66 helicopter crashed in the vicinity of Lakeville. This was reported on September 6 by the Fox News channel.

"According to a statement from the Lakeville Police Department, officers found the downed helicopter, later identified as a Robinson R66, at about 14:45 local time (22:45 GMT. - Ed.) in the area west of Airlake airport," the publication says.

After examining the board, rescuers found that there were no survivors among the passengers. However, the exact number of people on board at the time of the crash has not yet been determined. According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the aircraft crashed "under unknown circumstances," after which it caught fire.

The helicopter crashed in a non-residential and non-commercial area. No damage was recorded on the ground as a result of the incident.
